The hotel is adorned with traditional decorations. Our friendly staff, excellent food and drink along with the fabulous location of the hotel, will make you feel welcome and relaxed from the moment you arrive. Don’t forget, if you’d like to bring your pet – the Coach House rooms are ideal.

Arriving on 23rd December is the best way to avoid the traffic and rush but we offer either a 4-day or 3-day package (rates on Tariff page).

Christmas Eve

Afternoon tea & cake by the fire; an excellent time to meet everyone & take in the festive atmosphere. Champagne cocktails are served in the bar at 7pm, where orders will be taken for our banquet Christmas Eve dinner in the Winter Garden Restaurant.

Christmas Day

A leisurely affair, start your day with a traditional Welsh breakfast & perhaps a glass of Bucks Fizz. Has Santa called?

Relax & enjoy your morning, perhaps explore the Torrent Walk, before you are escorted into the restaurant for the Traditional Christmas Lunch, remember to leave space for coffee & petit-fours in the sitting room.

Christmas evening is very relaxed – mulled wine in the bar followed by a wonderful cold buffet. Round off the day with a bit of fun – a Christmas quiz to test everyone!

Boxing Day

Another leisurely breakfast followed by endless ideas of how to spend your day, or just relax in the hotel and let us take care of everything. At 7pm another fabulous dinner, bidding a fond farewell to those leaving us in the morning. Or perhaps … you’d like to stay another day…

Festive Gap

For those unable to come for Christmas or New Year, the In-Between period is designed to offer the opportunity to take a break – enjoy the decorations & have a well-earned rest. DBB at inexpensive mid-season rates.

New Year

Ring out the old and welcome in the New! Join us on the 30th December for a warm welcome from our friendly staff, in time for a leisurely Afternoon Tea in the lounges. After settling into your room, at 7pm join us for drinks & amuse-bouche before a delicious dinner in the Winter Garden Restaurant.

New Year’s Eve

A day for exploring the area or simply relaxing at the hotel. In the evening, the celebration begins with a Champagne Reception, followed by a 5-Course Gala Dinner. After dinner entertainment includes a light-hearted flutter at the gaming table with Roulette or Bingo or you might choose to spend a quieter evening in the company of friends. At midnight join us for a celebration glass of Champagne to the chimes of our own “Big Ben” and herald in the New Year 2009.

New Year’s Day

Relax after the celebrations with a lie-in and late breakfast. Take time to enjoy a gentle stroll to inspire the senses, a scenic drive amidst the beauty of Snowdonia, or simply relax and unwind.

The House Party draws to a close with a Farewell Dinner, one more comfortable night in your hotel room and depart after breakfast on 2nd January.
