History
A fine country house hotel built in 1864 set in 5 acres of
gardens and grounds.
This area of the Snowdonia National Park has so much to offer,
much of it on our doorstep. It's no wonder that more and more
of our guests are on their second or third visit.
The Torrent Walk, the
Coed-y-Brenin Forest, the Mawddach
Estuary, the Talyllyn Steam Railway. We have
a guide book in each room which lists all the best walks, drives
and place of interest along with maps to take away.
We are delighted with our recent assessment from the Wales
Tourist Board, which says we rate as Four Star in all the essential
areas. This is really good feedback. It is never easy to
select a new hotel. So, we have tried on this website to
provide information and photographs to give you all you need to
know.
