Our dining at Dolserau Hall is best described as good traditional country house cuisine. We have a Rosette from the AA for our food where we concentrate on tastes familiar to most and on the healthy needs of those returning from a day in the open air. All our food is delivered fresh and without preservatives.
The dinner menu changes daily (see sample Evening Menu below) and is cooked from fresh. It includes delicious Welsh lamb, Welsh Black beef and game in season from our local butchers. Farm-grown vegetables and fish from Gill the fishmonger in Aberdovey are served daily. Main course options always include a vegetarian dish and special dietary requirements are easily accommodated.
Desserts, all made in our own kitchen, include traditional British puddings as well as a number of more decadent options.
Our wines are chosen selectively from the more notable regions of the world. The wine list is very reasonably priced with wines that will excite your pallet without ruining your bank account.
Our dress code for dinner is ‘smart casual’ and we ask guests not to wear jeans, T-shirts or trainers.
Drinks are available to residents all day. Our bar is manned from 6.30pm until 11.00pm.
We are open to non-resident diners, although we do ask if you could telephone and book for dinner. (Tel 01341 422522)
