The hotel’s position is stunning.  We have panoramic views from every room over the surrounding pastures to the hills on either side of the valley with the Cadair Idris mountain range in the background and the head of the Mawddach Estuary only a mile away.

We bought this house in 2005 and we set about making it our own.  Each year we try to give a further lift to the style and quality of our bedrooms and guest areas.  Our aim is that each time you come, you will find something new.  We have plenty to offer, with all the little luxuries and extras that you expect from a good Country House Hotel.

This area of the Snowdonia National Park has so much to offer, much of it on our doorstep.  It’s no wonder that more and more of our guests are on their second or third visit.  The Torrent Walk, the Coed-y-Brenin Forest, the Mawddach Estuary, the Talyllyn Steam Railway.  We have a guide book in each room which lists all the best walks, drives and place of interest along with maps to take away.

We are delighted with our recent assessment from the Wales Tourist Board, which says we rate as Four Star in all the essential areas.  This is really good feedback. It is never easy to select a new hotel.  So, we have tried on this website to provide information and photographs to give you all you need to know.
