North Wales Country House

Welcome to Dolserau Hall. Dolserau Hall is a Victorian Country House Hotel, situated in the picturesque village of Dolgellau, North Wales.

Dolgellau is a small market town situated at the foot of the Cader Idris mountain range in south Snowdonia. It began as a village in the twelfth century and evolved into todays town with its narrow streets linking together the various town squares.

The hotel's position is stunning. With panoramic views from every room looking over the surrounding pastures to the hills on either side of the valley.

Look a little further and you will see the Cadair Idris Mountain range where Welsh legend states that King Arthur himself made his kingdom. But beware; local legend also says that that anyone who spends the night on top of Cadair Idris will wake up either a madman or a poet!

The hall is privately owned, and since being purchased in 2005 the owners have set about making Dolserau Hall their own. Year on year, improvements are made to the hall to give a further lift to the style and quality of the bedrooms and guest areas.

A philosophy that works; recently an assessment from the Welsh Tourist Board stated that the Hall is rated as 'Four Star' in all the essential areas. So you can rest assured when checking in at the Dolserau that you are in for a treat.

The aim is simple, each time you revisit, you will find something new. Dolserau Hall has plenty to offer, with all the little luxuries and extras that you expect from a Country House Hotel in North Wales.
